Memories
Shane William Gill
I always remember my uncle Wayne as a big strong man. He always smiled no matter what was going on in his life. I always knew that if i was in some sort of trouble i could always turn to Wayne, he would never shut the door in my face. The best memories i had is when we would drive around with my Dad and Wayne, i was just a young kid, we would be looking for old cars in backyards or something. And Wayne sure had a way with words, a guy would be asking so much money for a car and by the time Wayne was done with the guy  he would leave with the keys and a case of beer. Every time we went out Wayne was so sociable he knew everyone, and when we would go to the Plantation they would be asking him "come on Gilly"  you gonna sing one for us. You know what was the best about my uncle Wayne is  he didnt care what anyone thought, he just lived the way he wanted Free Bird, now he is truly Free, and everytime i think of him i Smile.

I miss those times, I miss the times me an dmy dad would sit there and jsut talk about anything and if i was upset he would always have the answers for me I still talk to him but it's not the same cause u don't hear nothing back.. the kids and I listen to his tape every morning to hear his voice again.. We loved it we would all go cash it in at the bank at the courner and then spend it all at the store for candy..LOL those were good times, that i sometimes wish i can go back to.
